If/When we get new races for FFXIV, instead of having us start new characters to use these new races (cause unlike wow we have to pay for each character) I think we should be given the option to redo our character's entire make up.

It would be nice for current players who wish to not lose all of their hard work to be a new race, or even for the players who just wish to tweak their existing looks without changing races.

Something also that would be good is more cosmetic use. Providing us with a "Barber" of sorts will allow for some kind of Gil sink as well. Not a lot but some.

Yoshi-p said when they add the female/male of the missing race he would allow 1 free change for a limit time. Which mean later you have to pay for it.

Ya yoshi-p have said very limit about the issue but he did say he may give players a free change. Which mean he going too it's not a matter of yes or no lol.

Ugh lucky {Bastard Sword} lol. Well good, cause I miss my old character design before switching servers, so I have been dying to switch it back to that but don't want to start over.

Another thing to think about when changing your race is, since the physical level is going away, and stats are going to auto-assign, as far as I understand it. Will there now be more profound stat differences in the races. So you may want to change tour race to better suit the job you want to play the most.

Stats will be auto assigned, but later we will have the option of assigning our own stats just like now. I am sure that will be ready way before PS3 release.
