I play because I enjoy online games! ffxiv has some fun aspects, sure I always think there's room for improvement (cause there is) lol but overall I like it or would not be paying for it.

I play wow as well and ffxi still O.o....and very much enjoy Rifts dimensions (the "bestest" housing to date).

No one reason why I play ffxiv, a bunch of things ...like the other games as well

I play because I like running around as a White Mage and heal people and give them *hugs* and make them hapi. I enjoy wearing WHM things and doing WHM things and giggling and smiling and bringing joy to others! *^_^*

Real life is a stressful environment. College, health issues and other responsibilities driving me insane, more or less.
In this game I can just be a different person and enjoy myself, that's my main reason for playing anyways ^_^
Oh and there's the fact that I just adore this game and can't get enough of it XD

I love RPGs, and MMOs are no exception.

Being an FFVperson and having played FFXI from 2005 to 2014, it was a no-brainier to play FFXIV. I played because of the community. Remember when we were all happy to help each other and stuff?

Anywho, now I'm not sure why I play still. I play casually and slowly versus my hardcore grinding (sometimes, I wouldn't even cap Poetics for the week). One thing's for sure; I have Zodiac on my mind. Having an unofficial goal to finish it is why I play.

I play for the opposite reason of most of you folks. I don't really have very many friends at all, and playing this game helps me escape from a very depressing reality. In the game, I am someone who is in a position to help others. I am in a position to be productive and happy and be around people. In real life, well... I won't go into detail, but let's say any friends I have are usually far too busy with their own lives to care about someone like me. So this game is very important to me in that regard.

That's deep, man. And the fact that you're a tank says something about you in a positive way. Funny because I'm a WHM in game and Security in real life. After dealing with mouthy folks at work, it helps me build a stoned skin to the mouthy people in-game. Am I thinking too much into this? lol

I'm not sure why i still play, but the reason i started was because its final fantasy. With ffxi being the game introduced me to this genre. it seemed only natural to play this one. All i do is farm light for my ninja novus and cap poetics. I use to enjoy everything about the game but it seems the only goal is to play dress up with useless gear. i guess I'm just holding out to see what's next. Hope the Expansion can add more depth.
