Stop complaining when something actually works as it should. You really want SE to keep nerfing? And then complain cause it's been nerfed? Nothing should be nerfed, it makes ppl stop playing the nerfed classes. If any, and if there really is an advantage against other classes, then the other classes should get buffed. Enough already with the nerfing. If this keeps on, no class will be fun anymore. Already had enough with pvp blm whm etc nerfes.

Decided to gear my drg a lil bit. Good lord the damage, minimum poaitionals, not dealing with mudra lag, and be the tankiest dps too?

What are you getting at with this? Monks have positionals, nins have mudra, but those also grant them ALOT more damage than dragoons. I think dragoons current difficulty level is perfect.

My face when most dragoons are still terrible even after the buff.
not to toot my own lance, because any skilled drg on this thread will know exactly what im talking about, but even before the buff, with a strong rotation and careful gearing i was still top of the hate list most runs. so imagine my face when i hear they are buffing it. Now my damage is ridiculous, and those dragoons that couldn't make the cut before STILL can't. I see the buff as a reward for doing it right. I am the first to stand up and applaud when someone is out dpsing me, especially when they SHOULD be. not sure what you were going for with this thread, but if you played a drg on ffxi at ALL youw ould understand that we EARNED this and i for one see no reason to complain.

That's funny... Because as a mediocrely geared Ninja I outperform most of the dragoons I run into.

They can take a hit better than I can, of course, but I do not think they are "too strong."

This. I main DRG and now my dps actually properly rivals Ninja and Monk so people in the PF actually want DRGs now. And as for our defence, we are the only DPS that wears Armor thus giving us the higest Non-Tank Physical Defence in the game.

If anything, Monk is too strong. The best dps class shouldnt have unique utility as useful as Dragon Kick, imo. (if another class had a similar non-stacking debuff similar to how Storm's Eye/Dancing Edge work then it would be better)

Dragoon has almost zero utility (other than raising the Brd's dps by about 6%) so it makes sense that it would be superior in another area like defense or burst.

Dragoons are fine.
