Progression to 4 Star Crafting

Hi all,

I just got all my crafting classes to 50, Artisan (non-meldable) gear, Artisan main-hands, i55 OH, and Master Book I for all classes. I'm pretty broke now after buying mats for the master books and getting GSM desynth up to 92. My Ixali rep just hit rank 5, so I have about 11 more days until I get to max rank.

My goal is to get into 4* crafting and I was wondering what's my next logical step of progression until I get enough sealants to make all my OH's and the meldable Artisan gear. Do I need to get my BSM Supra weapon to make the Artisan File and other OH's? Should I just quickly NQ 5 turn-ins for the Supra, or is there a chance that I can HQ the turn-ins for Master Book II with my current stats? 393 Craft, 374 Control, 391 CP (with HQ food). I currently have no melds on my i55 OH's, hoping that I can save some money to meld Artisan OH's - but I will meld them if I need to meet minimums for certain rotations.

I did my 3 HQ WVR item token for master book II before I even got the 5 NQ for the Supra. Wasn't using reclaim as I was working on Supra. It's totally doable.

Supra is very... very... very... boring due to the extreme time you will need to farm all the Mastercraft Demimateria needed. But that's just slow grind, like Ixaly Oaknots, nothing hard.

If you need some rotations for your token items, you can get one in my rotations guide. Pretty good outcomes with it.

what i would do is I would saved up some gils to get all share-able artisan gears (pants, shoes, chest and gloves) , once you meet the requirement for Book II token, you can try to HQ them if you fail to HQ them, you can use them for your supra.

these were my stats when i started getting the book II

BSM 452/ 409/ 392 -over meld with 2.4 BIS
Rest of DOH 394/ 387/ 392 - over meld with full artisan gears but offhand, the militia offhand has no meld at all..

I can attest to this lol. Gearing all my crafters and melding every OH artisan's tool as well as getting Supras probably cost me 2-3M for every job, plus what I spent making and melding all the Artisan's body pieces. Thankfully I've spent very little on getting the 4 Lucis I have. If you want to fast-track those though, that will also be another few mil, unless you farm mats and crystals to get your gc seals for moonstones fast.

I have spent at the very least 50 mils to get to where I am (I rarely farm for mats) all my crafters are 2.5 BiS without Artisan's Apron (gonna wait for next patch to decide whether I should go for control or craftsmanship meld)
