Civilly, cordially, but still bluntly: I encourage you to heed Spooke's advice and let this subject lie. You did not form your argument well from the start, and you are only further disservicing yourself as an individual by continuing on by replying so emotionally.

It is clearly a hot-button issue to you; and it is of my opinion that you would have done best by not replying from the start.
