i usually don't speed run, but play a normal paced, sometimes the other member insulting me of course and this is not a problem for me, no one die, so i feel well with myself..bu many other sometimes kick me..

And that right there pretty much sums up the whole problem. It isn't about pulling individual pulls but rather going at a pretty decent pace, yet people come in, harassing the tank, without even asking for their opinion about pulling everything at once. Really, if you wanted to do it, queue with a tank friend who will do it or tank it yourself. Problem Solved.

As for being with a PT in a high level dungeon. If your in a duty roulette expert - expect to speed.

There will be people who actually understands what I am talking about, and then, there will be people who actually don't even understand what I am talking about. This has to be one of those comments. There is a difference between speed pulling and MEGA SPEED PULLING. If they don't know or can't see the difference, then call me out about it, they are the kinds that don't even take 2 seconds before jumping to the conclusion that I am "crying" about not wanting to speed pull before even reading anything that's being said.

If you are pulling at a decent pace meaning it's not the whole floor but still quick enough I don't really see a problem with that. I have seen tank that pull the whole floor/area and we end up wiping due to various reasons, which waste more time since your buff are all on CD now. You really do not have to pull every single thing for a speed run, speed pulling works the same as well and safer considering you do not know the skills of the players you are with.

And yet, that is exactly what I am "crying" about. Oh, and that harassers are "crying" about. I don't always feel like speed pulling, but if the whole groups wants me to speed pull? Fine by me, however I always keep a good pace but I won't pull the "whole floor". The problem isn't people who are asking me to take this trash pull to the next trash pull, it's those people who don't even consider asking before going. I have mentioned it before, there are players who will simply go and pull the next trash without even asking for your opinion even if you were about to start picking up the pace.

We've been speedrunning dungeons since 1.0 because of the slot machine reward system. [large quantities of people who want reward] + [intermittent reward payout] = play that tends towards efficiency: we want to squeeze in as many rolls as we can in our limited playtime. It's a perfectly reasonable attitude. And let's not forget the unluckiest of us, who probably want to spend as little time as possible in the same dungeon we've run dozens of times already.

We all remember WP abuse and Mythflox, but Zodiac turned the whole thing up to 11. Tens of thousands of players are running each of the lv.50 dungeons an indefinite number of times. As someone who is also doing Zodiac, surely you can sympathize with the soul-crushing horror of RNG.

What I'm getting at is: if the party is willing and able to bullet through the dungeon and you're stonewalling them because "I dun wanna" then it is selfish of you under the circumstances. The Real Problem is not you or them, but if you're not earnestly trying to mitigate the effects of The Real Problem then you're exacerbating them--and that's gonna rile people up.

You don't have to give a shit because it's unenforceable, but I like to think there's a social contract when playing with others online. A little bit of I-don't-waste-your-time-you-don't-waste-mine kinda thing.

It's only a problem if you make it so by not pacing yourself. Everything in the game is designed to take a certain amount of time: if you want to speed the process up by incessantly farming content you can, of course, but it's souring your gaming experience too. I don't look at the time when I'm ejoying myself. If it didn't drop today, it'll drop tomorrow, I took my time for my relic, even breaks of weeks during Atma and Novus, yet I am almost done with collecting lights (last stage) and my performance hasn't suffered since my weapon is still good enough for the content I am doing (and if it came to the point where it wasn't, I have a faster, stronger alternative in Shiva's staff).

It's like how people are obsessed with capping tomes when I am pretty sure you don't even have to run an expert roulette every day to cap them, let alone all of them every day. But some people want 450 tomes in one day and it's their right! If the devs didn't want you to do that they'd have made it impossible, but if you're pacing yourself and taking your time I can assure you that you can get everything done in a reasonable time without worrying about anything but have fun from when you log in to when you log out. I'm not trying to be condescending but that honestly has never been a problem for me. Whenever I was starting to get frustrated about atma drops or how many more times I would have to run something for that things I wanted I would just stop it altogether before it became unenjoyable, did something else and came back to it when the feeling was gone.
