Ah I understand, carry on...I do, but I think it applies to here too, which is why I felt like quoting it and adding my 2 cents about it. People just don't seem to understand what I am asking, and that I am not looking for a solution, just opinions.
Edit: Guys if I was looking for a solution I would have stopped at the first response because it was a solution in itself. However I don't completely agree with it and anyway I already stated my own solutions for dealing with the problem. I'm simply trying to get what is on your mind on paper, I wouldn't follow up with questions and comparing your opinions with mine if I didn't. Take this as you will.
The solution is, and will always be a little Speedrun checkbox next to join in progress.
This should force skip cut scenes, and encourage pulling swiftly within reason.
Maybe even reward the group with bonus drops/tomes based on completion time.
You watch how quick all the anti cut scene skipper / anti speed run people are clicking that box and doing it to avoid 8 hour Q times, and reducing the amount of roulette they do weekly.
*Dreams*
I'd love this checkbox. Means I get to join teams that actually do it at a normal pace and I get to enjoy my time instead of being stressed by all the tanks that do a mass pull and don't pop a single CD and just drop dead in an instant. And sure give them a bonus reward - it's not a bad idea - I mean they are optimizing their DPS and pushing the limits I have no problem with that. The solution is, and will always be a little Speedrun checkbox next to join in progress.

Though to be honest a drex is something I do like once per day and I can cap poe based off of that alone by the weekend(usually sooner since I run other stuff as well).
Healer is atleast required dungeon mobs tend to hit a bit harder and you can't pull one by one most of the time but by packs - which tend to be 3 at a time.
As for holy stun yeah except those mobs that don't get stunned and will kill the tank while the WHM is holying(Jura's in stone vigil hm and to top it off they can interrupt you as well).

IMO, if you're the tank, you set the pace. The DPS get no say in this because they're the ones waiting 45 minutes in the DF. If they're impatient, they wouldn't be doing PUG parties at all.
That said, assume that all PUG DF's are speed runners. It's not that everyone wants to, but DPS tends to have the longest wait while healers/tanks have the shortest wait, so a tank/healer can ditch a party that moves too slowly and get penalized less for it.

This is just my opinion, a lot of these people play this game way too much and try to get EVERYTHING done in this 3 month period with multiple jobs. If you look at it and try to push everything into one day there is a lot to do. I love every job in this game, but I've come to realize quickly that I can't do every job, all the relics, runs, dailies from Roulettes / Daily Crafting / Ixali / Hunts etc... in a this time frame I can't do it. I think they burn themselves out without really knowing or caring
Then again, I'm up at 4 a.m. and usually don't get back in until 5. By the time you're done cooking dinner for people it's about 6/6:30..do some chores at home and you might get an hour or two in.
I only suggest it's them over playing because I use to do everything I could but now, like in the past two weeks..I haven't come near to capping poetics \ not trying to do Ixali every single day or Hunts and all that other stuff. I went a few days without playing and was able to pick up another game. Now I get on, and have a nice easy time. If we die, I don't mind while others are raging that it's their 50th time running this week without a death, how dare someone mess up! I can go into WoD as SMN and just go all out while others are just dozing away. But that's just me.

Because it's the only fun I have with dungeons after the 20th time of running them.
It is far more fun to heal, DPS, and tank speedfasts than pull one.... slogging..... pull..... at...... a...... time.
Nyew shouldnyot feel forced to do so; but it is clearly encouraged by the commewnity. If nyew arenyot comfortable, nyew would likely meowke mistakes anyaaway, so don't do it until you feel comfortable.
While it may be technically true, I've seen tanks kicked over pulling one pack at a time in Amdapor Keep. If the pace you set doesn't jive with the rest of the group, you're in the wrong.IMO, if you're the tank, you set the pace. I could heal a DPS through doing 2 packs at once in there. There is no excuse for pulling one at a time

Why would you not want to be as efficient as possible?
I have no clue how people can have fun taking it slow in 4 man dungeons when they've already done them 30 times prior.
Because I'm not in a rush?
Because, especially if I'm the one tanking, I don't feel comfortable doing big pulls?
Because not everyone thinks the same way as you and some actually enjoy not rushing?
