I can't copy and paste the info from the link since I am on my iPad. Thoughts on what Yoshida might say? Possibly the preorder information and release date.

Thanks for the heads up! Excited to see what he'll talk about. I'm also guessing he'll likely announce the date, looking at how close we're getting to spring.
Chances are it'll be an actual Live Letter. It's not on the main stage where the general PAX Streams are on.
As for what they'll discuss in this presentation:
- A bit of 2.5b information
- Release Date + Pre-Order Price Announcement for Heavensward
- A Brand New "Mechanic" (either a new raid, or something "game changing" like flying mounts)
- Flying Air Ships
- More DRK/MCH/AST Information/Videos
Maybe some other cool things, like in-game footage, new job armour/weapons etc. They might show off some more DX11 stuff or announce the DX11 Benchmark as well.
I really doubt it'll be overly spectacular as by the looks of things, they only have a 45minute - 1 hour window, before the next show on the Albatross theatre is on. They can only fit so much stuff into such a small window.
Hopefully they reveal the release schedule.
A lot of players want to plan ahead for when 3.0 arrives and if there is a early access to 3.0 for pre-order like in 2.0 (despite 2.0 early access being a disaster) I would certainly be interested in it for the sake of getting a head start in 3.0 to level my Dark knight.
Though it's not much, thanks for the info OP.
Was about to start a separate thread asking about the Heavensward website. Outside of the trailer, not much else has been added to it and we've gotten tons of info on the expansion since the initial trailer came out. Can't wait to see what Yoshi-P has in store for us come this event.
lol about HEADSTART on an xpac this is not a new game launch like 2.0 was. have you ever played any mmo who released something like this before ? otherwise you wouldnt talk such nonsense. headstarts only work on new game releases. like 2.0 was or when game came out with 1.0. you cannot do that on a lvl cap raise expansion.it would royally piss people off. never saw this on a xpac. wont happen. thankfully.
Ya, I dont see there being any kind of head start, but I am sure that a lot of people will want to plan as much as they can prior to this as possible. I expect we will see a lot of what Dervy mentioned information wise.
I don't know about anyone else, but I plan on not actually being able to play for 2 days. Remember what happened when the first few major updates were released? 24 maint turned into 48 hours from all the emergency maint down times.
I wish they release the ways of obtaining the expansion a bit earlier though. So I can know what to expect like can it be bought and download via mog station? Can you use crysta to pay for it? etc etc.
I suppose, that a lot of us are under the assumption that they would have used their past experiences to improve the launch of the expansion to avoid this.
I would expect to hear this kind of information then. March is is generally what people think of as the start of spring. Also consider that the time of PAX is 3 weeks before the final part of the 2.5 patch will launch. I expect we will know a great deal by the time the last part of the patch hits.Originally Posted by Neri
