I can't copy and paste the info from the link since I am on my iPad. Thoughts on what Yoshida might say? Possibly the preorder information and release date.

Thanks for the heads up! Excited to see what he'll talk about. I'm also guessing he'll likely announce the date, looking at how close we're getting to spring.
Chances are it'll be an actual Live Letter. It's not on the main stage where the general PAX Streams are on.
As for what they'll discuss in this presentation:
- A bit of 2.5b information
- Release Date + Pre-Order Price Announcement for Heavensward
- A Brand New "Mechanic" (either a new raid, or something "game changing" like flying mounts)
- Flying Air Ships
- More DRK/MCH/AST Information/Videos
Maybe some other cool things, like in-game footage, new job armour/weapons etc. They might show off some more DX11 stuff or announce the DX11 Benchmark as well.
I really doubt it'll be overly spectacular as by the looks of things, they only have a 45minute - 1 hour window, before the next show on the Albatross theatre is on. They can only fit so much stuff into such a small window.
Hopefully they reveal the release schedule.
A lot of players want to plan ahead for when 3.0 arrives and if there is a early access to 3.0 for pre-order like in 2.0 (despite 2.0 early access being a disaster) I would certainly be interested in it for the sake of getting a head start in 3.0 to level my Dark knight.

Though it's not much, thanks for the info OP.
Was about to start a separate thread asking about the Heavensward website. Outside of the trailer, not much else has been added to it and we've gotten tons of info on the expansion since the initial trailer came out. Can't wait to see what Yoshi-P has in store for us come this event.

lol about HEADSTART on an xpac this is not a new game launch like 2.0 was. have you ever played any mmo who released something like this before ? otherwise you wouldnt talk such nonsense. headstarts only work on new game releases. like 2.0 was or when game came out with 1.0. you cannot do that on a lvl cap raise expansion.it would royally piss people off. never saw this on a xpac. wont happen. thankfully.

Amusing given that there was a dev post on the forums a few weeks ago saying that they were considering early access for pre-orders so that people who order physical copies can access the expansion content even if their order is delayed in the mail. Given that anyone who wants the expansion will inevitably pre-order there is really no one to 'piss off' as you put it.lol about HEADSTART on an xpac this is not a new game launch like 2.0 was. have you ever played any mmo who released something like this before ? otherwise you wouldnt talk such nonsense. headstarts only work on new game releases. like 2.0 was or when game came out with 1.0. you cannot do that on a lvl cap raise expansion.it would royally piss people off. never saw this on a xpac. wont happen. thankfully.

thats a different thing mate. what they meant was that if you for example order a copy somewere and it does not arrive at launch day you can STILL start together with all others even tough your copy did not arrive yet. thats common practice with mmos actually most the time. there is no EARLY ACCESS for any version on a expansion. its not gonna happen and this is something i am really 100% sure off. because EARLY access means flat out access to the SERVERS when they are up. but you cannot block PAYING customers out since there will be people who already paid for thier sub and they derserve to play the same time the servers are up no matter if they order xpac or not. seriously show me any mmo of the past years that ever did an early access on a expansion. never heared of that ever. ff wont be doing it either. this only works on new releases of mmos.Amusing given that there was a dev post on the forums a few weeks ago saying that they were considering early access for pre-orders so that people who order physical copies can access the expansion content even if their order is delayed in the mail. Ya, I dont see there being any kind of head start, but I am sure that a lot of people will want to plan as much as they can prior to this as possible. I expect we will see a lot of what Dervy mentioned information wise.

I don't know about anyone else, but I plan on not actually being able to play for 2 days. Remember what happened when the first few major updates were released? 24 maint turned into 48 hours from all the emergency maint down times.
