Reward needed for Staying for the full run timer in Duty Finder

The reward is already there, it's the treasure coffer.

I'm all for helping newer players with fights, but I will not wipe for an hour because a player refuses to respect the fight mechanics, and is hoping full echo will let them just ignore any and all responsibility in said fight (it won't). Especially if those players have an attitude, then it's lol and good luck in the future.

runs with people that do not play together often and dont know each other as well with new players go this way in my experience

1st run : could be qualified as good, but still a wipe
2nd run: total mess, wipe of cousre
3rd to 5th run : adjustments runs, wipe still
from there onwards is when runs become progression runs

People though leave/ disconnect / sit and do nothing after 1 or 2 wipes this fact not helping anyone, not even themselves to pass/finish an instance.

To work as a group, and not as a solo, you need to know the partners you are with and that requires time and adjusments, and in a DF time means a few wipes

People just want insta gratification where as those that are new want to learn but cant learn what they dont know even if they watched a video they still dont know everything. An example

Rafflesia, T6, I watched the video and when you got a honeyglaze the video said to run to bulbs (not sure the name), so during that fight I did so, and I was yelled at and called all names in the planet because I was a noob and the like, and that I should watch some more of a video, I said I watched a video and the video said to do so, they said that they were using a single los strategy, never heard of that before and I asked what the heck is that? so I was explained...How can I imagine something that I dont even know it exists ?

this is the kind of attitude you get almost always from people that know and assume that new players note the NEW players should know or have the same understanding as them as well although they have no idea about strategies since all they saw was ONE strategy eh?

In short, as long as people of both sides dont understand how to cooperate and dont understand that in a DF you do not get to choose you land with, and compose with a choice you made, it will never work, no matter how many rewards you are going to hand out. Attitude towards a given situation is everything and if people keep believing they are the most important thing when they are in a team it will never work, groups arent for solo players, attitude though cant be changed you just have to put up with it, I just wished there were sanction for those that kick under fallacious reasons, sit down and do nothing waiting to be kicked or insult others, maybe then attitude would change, when punishments are handed out is when things go always better, nobody wants to be punished....but everybody wants a reward with minimum effort.

Not only you didn't check if the guide's strategy is still valid (you have to, it just makes sense, you're entering a fight that has been significantly changed by the nerfs), you did not even 'study' it properly (yeah, sure run those honeys to the bulbs). This is also why echo and nerfing fights isn't a completely good idea. The fight changes so the strategy changes. The fight becomes easier and people start ignoring some mechanics and you can't experience the full fight anymore. You were also EXPLAINED by the group on how they want to handle the mechanics. If they're as bad as you or the op said, you would have been kicked immediately or the party abandoned immediately.

If people like you and the OP are expecting the red carpet treatment every time then you do not understand why things like ESRB cannot rate online video game experience. You're all gonna feel wronged by others all the time because you're playing with the wrong mindset and thinking that everyone should treat you like you're their best friend. It might be yoship's pleasure to serve players like you the easiest experience he can give but the other players aren't there to serve you.

Long before party finder existed , duty finder was not recommended to clear any content like ex primals or what. we used to shout for party making in mor dhona etc..
The thing is , you can t force rules in duty finder, you just have to rely on random people therefor random reactions and skills and knowlegde etc
If you want people to stay until the end for training, you create a party finder specifying this rule "stay until the end"
Duty finder has always been random since the begining and will always be unless there is some other predefined rules into the duty finder. like "join in progress" or language selection.
Also, stop relying on Echo to clear fights please, this is wrong x)

with how much extra time SE puts in the DF timer, it has to be the suckiest of all suck parties to run out of time.

the towers are about an hour. shouldn't take more then 40 minutes for any of the newest dungeons, primals shouldn't take more then 30min, and coil turns are about 20 min each.
That is counting two wipes or so. Personally, i prefer 30min towers, 20min new dungeons, 10min primals and coil runs, if not less.

DF is not a prison and it really needs a 'have cleared only' type option. it would also be nice if PF could extend to the data center your in so you have a few worlds to get members from.

PS: you cant abuse the 'vote abandon' system, since it is a party wide vote. if more then 50% think it sucks and want to leave, then its majority rule.

The worst part is that SE & the baddies believe we play this game to train scrub players... Sorry but i watch the videos, ask friends who played the content what changed and join learning parties before going to DF or 'clear' parties. Only join farm parties after knowing the mechanics and have a clear or at least have it down to 2% a few times.

I am at least self aware enough to understand that no one wants to 'train' me and that its my responsibility to learn the fight.

A reward for the group failing repeatedly and unnecessarily using the entire timer? No, the reward should be the self realization that there HAD to be something you could have done to speed something us. Use it to go improve. Don't reward people for the worst possible way to fail in the game.

By all means have your shiny coin system, as long as I can get a similar system whereby I get a coin every time I set up a pony FARM party in pf, then enter and get SOL bonus message only for the new person to say "but I'm really good, know fight, and have just had awful people in my pt before" and then wipe on first plume
