    I want to know what's going to happen to the stats of HQ items. Will a Crab Bow +3 for example be nerfed when it becomes just HQ? I mean how will the star system be replaced?

    Also how is SE going to keep such things rare? Turning +2s into the same kind of HQs as +3s would be ridiculous considering there's probably 20 times as many +2 bows around as +3s. So this leads me to believe only +3s should become HQ items under the new system.

    I preferred the system as it is. +3s are something to work hard for or something the rich can buy, while almost everyone else can settle for a +2 and new players can settle for NQs and +1s. Simplifying it like this means either everyone is going to have an HQ or only the rich and hard workers are going to have them.

    Q: With current materials that already exists would the +3 be considered HQ or will it be NQ? Wondering about this part. Like before the monster dropped materials being NQ or +3 will this be applied to current +3, +2 becoming HQ and +1 being NQ?

    A: Yes, that basics are just like you imagined, the goal is to combine as much as possible but at which line (+3 and +2 being HQ others being NQ) will have to be decided by adjusted by looking at the item circulation rate from logs.

    Reinhart's translation. I don't really see them doing a case by case basis on every single item.

    what will a +1/2/3 material do with the new system if it changes to NQ/HQ only?
    I was referring to the loot table percentages: old NQ/+1 resulted in an NQ drop, old +2/+3 resulted in a +3 drop. They might use this as a template of what might potentially happen to existing +1/2/3 finished items. I can't imagine they would allow +3 to be "relics" of an old crafting system to co-exist with the new generic HQ items, especially if the +3 stats are better.

    As for what happens to old +materials and recipes, I would imagine they eventually stop working which would be in-line with the last Producer's Letter and the newly translated post. So 1.19 will be new recipes with overlapping old recipes. 1.20 they will co-exist. 1.21 will be new HQ system only?

    i know thats the old system
    i was looking for something "official" (no offense to the translators we have among the players) so that we knew for sure what would be happening with this change in specific

    This is a big issue, I hope they go the rout to streamline everything down as its overly complicated.
    +2/3 => HQ
    nq/+1 => NQ

    Yes a +3 is very very hard to get but there is at least 2 different rates of HQ on finished products it is many times easier to HQ+3 a finished weapon vs the odds of HQ+3 something like silver nuggets. Of a sample size of say 100 synths all with over 300quality the weapon might HQ+3 10 times. The nugget might HQ 1 time or even zero times (I expect its less then 1% rate)

    I hope we get some kind of a post to better explain whats going to happen this affects many ppl in my shell who are working on +3 for weapons.

    I am pretty sure he stated that +1 will become NQs and that +3 will become HQs.

    +2 it's not decided yet as they have to look the item logs to see the number of +2s in circulation. If there are too many +2s then expect +2 to be NQs as well.

    This is the way I read it:

    Only mats/ingredients are becoming NQ/HQ. Final products can still be +1+2+3 by this procedure:

    Taking a HQ gear (sword+1) and combining it with another item will turn it into a sword+2 and so on by means of a higher level recipe.

    I could be wrong, but again that's just the way I read it. Based on what he said here:

    Meaning your +2 and +3's ????

    Would like a Rep to clarify this.
