Small change to glamour for a big improvement!

just thinking about the possibility of this being in game makes me drool. SE you have no clue how wonderful it would be to have this in the game. I have at least a half a dozen other issues with the glamour system, but this would probably be #1 or #2 on my list.

#1 would probably be the current method of forcing people/crafters to wait till 50 to unlock glamours, even though the lowest level glamours can be crafted with materials from the 30's. the system should unlock in the 20's or 30's for both crafting as well as those using the system, with each tier requiring higher level to make/utilize. not to hijack your thread, but since we were talking glamours

I feel like this should be a priority. People will replay tons of old content to fill their 'Equipment Log/Glamour Log/Whatever'. I know that SE is trying to conserve sent/received data, or whatever, in case they need it for something, but this should be that something.

They know players want something like this but they've said if it was as easy enough to program as it is to talk about they would do it, but alas, as they mentioned, it would be too complicated to actually program into the game, mentioning that they would actually just increase inventory space instead (another thing they've stated that isn't possible due to the way the game is coded). It is stated here specifically:

World of Warcraft will have a glamour log (Transmog) in their upcoming expansion and I also heard that other MMOs have already implemented such a method as well. This glamour log system is possible. It's just not really known if they have the manpower to pull it off right now. Seeing as to how many people are having inventory issues due to glamour, I hope the developers put that into high-priority and not just leave us with the whole paid retainers thing as an excuse not to pursue the glamour log.

Good ideas will never be implemented by SE if it means a loss of profit. They devised this method so you get inventory bloat.. inventory bloat means a potential need for more retainers... the very same retainers you have to pay extra for... sadly T_T

Just reading the original poster's post and YES to this 100%.

The devs under utilize key items and currency tabs by keep giving us more random pieces of crap to have in our inventories. This is so frustrating.

Love this idea, another thing u wish they could add would be glamours being saved to your soul stone or something so that way my SCH WHM and AST weren't all forced to wear the same glamour.

Because y'all have a very strange idea of a "Small change". That would be a complete overhaul and wouldn't be worth doing from a development perspective.
