[dev1130] "Coeurl Step" name under review

I will admit that the name "Coeurl Step" is fun and playful, but perhaps it's a little too cutsie and vague for this game. After all, this isn't a new dance step is it?

Perhaps simply "Stealth" would be a more appropriate name.

I think "Sneak" works just fine as well. Nothing wrong with calling a spade a spade.

Just my humble opinion. What do you think?

"Coeurl Step" seem to refer to a monster "Coeurl" that often makes reappearance in many FF (Final Fantasy) Titles ; X, X-2, and others from what I know; (it looks like a Cheetah with long wipe-like Whiskers, it would walk slow toward the characters and attack them like then walk back; sometime moving quickly in other FF titles, if I recall correctly). After I remembered this I came to like the name as it has attachment in lore.)

"Coeurl Step", is more imaginative then "Sneak" sorry to say in my opinion, as sneak now seems plain in comparison to "Coeurl Step", however at the same time I do believe something more could be added to the name "Coeurl Step" to give it a nicer feel.

IMO f*** Sneak and stealth! Coeurl Step has an immersion these general names/common game terms will never have...I just loved the name! ^^

Also, it does makes perfect sense to me...have you ever seen a big feline (tigers, lions, cheetahs, etc) reading an attack? They can slowly walk around without doing a single noise...exactly what we will be doing...walking unnoticed while "hunting" our gathering points...As the most classic feline from FF i approve the Coeurl Step name! /thumbsup

And about calling spade a spade, i call my axe "Heavy Jr." in reference to the friend who made it to me...i think its the very same thing...you can call a dagger "dagger", but there's way more immersion having them with a fancy name like Heartstroke. ^^ Even if thy were the very same item, if you ask the dude "Hey! Wand a dagger or a Heartstroke?" which one you think he would pick? ^^

And does PROWL for ores and logs make sense to you?

If I were prowling, I'd be making as much noise as possible.

No, silently moving around feels a lot better.

Interesting, if it was something similar to "Silent Coeurl Step". A single added word could improved it nicely, it's a lot easier and it isn't to hard to understand if you're new to FF (Final Fantasy).

Also there then is the possibility of a change to "Silent Step" as well. However the downside is the lore would be lost, and "Coeurl" could be removed. At the same time it's good naming sense in English, and seems closer to what gatherers we'll be doing.
