Add 3 stages of tome items!!

I find a lot of players transitioning from fresh level 50 to being able to get into basic gear to run simple things such as relic and the lower dungeons. chimera for example chimera is ilvl 52. to many that don't seem like much anymore. To some its a huge hurdle.

Most other games have a 3 tome or transitional stage which this one lacks.

if they institued some form of mythology tomes to purchase i lvl 70/90 gear from an npc starting at dungeons like stone vigil / lvl 41 dungeon with something low like 5/10 tomes and gradually worked them upto maybe 40 tomes or so by aurum vale it would give 2 purposes. Firstly would give reason to return to dungeons to level and gain tomes. This would assist them in transition once they reacht he lvl 50 pinnacle to transition into the first basic lvl 50 dunegons and relic quests.

The lvl 50 players like some friends of mine who have to have every piece of gear for vanity would return to these dungeons so they could finish their collections, in doing so helping the newer players byt teaching and guiding them on the way up.

You should be able to get to ilvl 55 pretty easily with the GC gear. I remember that's what I bought when i reached 50 to boost my ilvl high enough to do the relic quest. After that you can upgrade your relic to ilvl90 and then you can start doing ilvl60 dungeons and work your way up... the transition is pretty smooth already I think. You have dungeons that drop ilvl55, ilvl60, 70, 80, 90 and 100.

I'm having difficulty understanding what you mean here. Do you mean tome purchased items such as Weathered equipment or the relic quest carrying you through its challenges?

i52 isn't difficult to obtain. If you're a crafter of at least LV50 or know one, have at least a small sum of gil or willing to run the easiest LV50 dungeons you will get that ilv quickly.

Crafting i55 equipment doesn't require melds or a completed crafting questline and the dungeons are something stupid low ilv requirement like i48, if it even has one - which drops i55 gear, including weapons.

Newer players would probably benefit more from those antique armor tokens being made tradable than the player base as a whole getting an additional layer of tomestone gear.

Imo the only problem if you just hit level 50 and wanna do the easy dungeons like WP and AK is if you are a tank.
I had huge problems holding aggro when my 2nd character reached level 50. Luckily my fc crafter made me some ilvl 90 gear, but everyones not that lucky.
My third character is a warrior and soon level 35, when I reach level 50 with that one I'm gonna have the same problems I reckon.
Other than that I don't really see a problem for new players

At least crafted ilevel 70 gear should be already cheap in the MB
Not every gear need to be only from dungeons or tokens.

Wouldn't help new players at all. Anyone into crafting would snap them up like crack for desynthesis fodder.
