Manor Instruments - Return of the Auto-Play

Originally, the 5 manor instruments would play automatically when you zoned in. Sadly, this enjoyed feature which brought more interest into the items was removed in a patch later on after their release.

Now, these instruments are great fun, but you can't always have 5 people trying to sync the resulting tune from each instrument, or try and start them yourself as there's always going to be a delay.

As a suggestion to return the love now lost for collecting the set, I'd like to ask if it would be possible to return the auto-play feature, or a simple lamp switch as the instruments already have, that will play all 5 in sync for you.

One suggestion would be utilizing the Manor Music Stand. Currently, its only use is to look pretty. What if we instead made it into a switch to activate the instruments, if you would like to avoid to autoplay upon zone in feature we had previously? This would also work nicely for those who are placing the instruments into private housing or a private room.

I've gone around quite a lot of the threads detailing this situation, and here are some of the responses since losing the auto-play feature.

The not playing upon entering, I can deal with, but if we go through the trouble of getting all of them, there needs to be a way to sync them up so they all play together correctly, because good luck trying to get 5 people with different internet connections to turn them on at the right moment.

    This is unfortunate indeed

Looking at a video of these instruments from a previous patch it seems like they changed the sound of the timpani, I am wondering if that had something to do with messing up the auto play?

Either way, seriously disappointed and hope they rectify this.

So I've read looking at other posts, but as of right now, lamp switch settings don't persist if the house is unoccupied at any point. I can turn all the lamps off, exit the house, and when I zone back in all the lamps are back on. That didn't use to happen before the auto-zone patch so I guess they made it so all switch objects reset to default if the house is unoccupied at any point... and instruments default to inactive. Oh well

On a side note to this, it would be really awesome if you could click on the manor music stand, and all instruments that you had would start playing their own part of the same song. Even better would be if each time you activated it, they would play a different (random) song.

Without music, video games would be a mistake.
