Just to help clarify, ALL of the lights were doubled from their original values as of Patch 2.5.
The current light values are now as follows
Feeble: 2
Gentle: 4
Bright: 8
Brilliant: 12
Blinding: 24
Newborn Star: 32

You need 2000 lights in total to get your Nexus.
