ah yes, just what i want when i play a video game; frustrating, pointlessly inconvenient bullshit.

Agreed 100%! It's just like those people who come to the forums and bitch about other people being lazy and want everything handed to them. I keep telling them that MMOs just aren't for them, but instead of leaving politely they continue to bitch.
All I know is that I'm having fun, and if I can find fun where other people can't, that just makes me a better gamer I guess.
Weakness was only during 1.x part of the death penalty. In ARR it got changed from death penalty to raise penalty.
Can't abolite something that was never (not even during 1.0 launch) in the game.
Even during 1.0, where you could build up your own skill list, pure support skills was never used as main skills

This is why I still play ffxi once In a while also. I do still enjoy the grind on there. And I like it fun and easy(er) on here. Both are separate games, and both are fun.
Also amazing how many people still play ffxi. they still have so many players on so many servers they could easily merge half of them together if the population ever drops. Which it really hasn't much.
Anyways. Go try ffxi it sounds more suited for your taste. Not saying you can today this also. But you just seem like you'll get more enjoyment from it.
And to the guy who mentioned crafting? It's not too bad. I think it was harder on 1.x
God spelling errors, "not saying you can't today" * no edit button on my phone

I'd like to see you do final coil solo >![]()
I am pretty sure this thread is a troll thread as the OP has not taken part in any discussion within since making the original thread, however what amuses me is for someone called reality_check...he really should go back and check his facts and the accuracy of his statements because a some of the statements are not true and some of those percentages are not even close to reality.
I concur with the majority of the people in this thread who are reasonably happy with the game in general right now because of how it was made to be pretty casual friendly and not a game made for the hardcore crowd. The hardcore niché has a small amount of content they can get their teeth into but this game is not by design catered specifically to them as others have said. Wildstar was catered to them and it failed miserably because of it, let's not forget also that FFXI still exists and can still play that so if you do indeed prefer that then nothing stops you from playing it instead or even at same time.
I have played XI and I have played this one since 1.0, I enjoy ARR more than both the others.

You should probably clear Second Coil before making pretentious proclamations like these. Realistically, you should probably clear Final Coil before making grand standing proclamations like that, but come on, not even a T9 clear?People in general are lazy and rude to you if you even hint at the possibility that they are lazy. People will complain about every single thing in their lives and how hard it is and how everyone else has everything easier than them. It is a staple of the human condition and will be no different in MMOs. No matter how easy they make these games people will always defend its simplicity and even look for it to be downed more and who the hell are you to say they should have to work for something. People don't want accomplishments, they want accolades. No child left behind, people want to celebrate mediocrity and damn those that suggest they should aspire to more. Such is the species for the most part.
Where is your savage coil Bruh. Can't take anything seriously without credentials.
