About Us

We are currently a small Rank 8 FC of around 45 members. We are a friendly and helpful FC that is 'family' oriented. Many of our experienced players are happy to help where we can. We are open minded, which means we expect members not to discriminate or judge others based on religion, sexuality, ethnicity, etc. We are a universal FC interested in both casual and hardcore pursuits such as endgame progression. We use to have raid groups for endgame progression and peaked at T9 recently before around 10 of our active members involved in raiding left for an FC entirely focused on endgame progression due to not having a full party of 8 FC members anytime they were in the mood to raid. We use to have FC events but hardly no one showed interest. We had an FC lottery as well. We might be re-introducing FC events with the release of the Manderville Gold Saucer bringing in new ideas, such as a Triple Triad tournament between FC members with prizes as one example. We have a website, but no one except officers ever used it so we don't really do much with it anymore, but this can change if people show an interest. We are not looking to be a huge FC, maybe no more than 100 members. This is because we care more about our members, aka family, than just looking at people as a number. The integrity of our members is more important than numbers. Our ranking system is based on member integrity. Our FC leaders raise ranks to players that have been good members and helpful to others and/or the FC in general.

What we are looking for

-active members interested in endgame progression (endgame progression cannot resume until we recruit enough interested in, so please be patient if you join for this)
-active members that are simply looking for an FC for any reason other than just endgame progression, we are a universal FC, as a result no one is required or expected to partake in endgame progression

FC house: small house in the Lavender Beds (plan on going up a size once we get enough gil, which is based on how much all of us as an FC pitch in to the FC chest, pitching in gil is NOT required)

Our Current Situation and Our Plan

After losing 10 of our active members, this created a domino effect of others leaving and thinking FC was dead since half of those members were fellow officers, so we lost 24 members dropping from 69 to 45 within 2 to 3 weeks up to now. Even when we explain to people that it will take a little time before we can build up enough members to return to active endgame progression, they usually don't stay longer than a few days. The idea of our FC is to work together. Anyone can invite new members. Until we build up enough members, anyone interested in joining should understand not to expect everything to happen overnight. If you join solely for friends and family there won't be an issue. If you join for endgame progression, it will take patience as we rebuild an active playerbase. Just thought I would give a heads up.
