Disabling my anti-virus entirely actually worked on the first try, but obviously this is just a temporary solution. I have to wait until everything reinstalls before I can see if adding that link to the whitelist works permanently.

I think the current date is part of the address so I'm assuming that the link is going to change every day and we're gonna have to add it to the whitelist every day if there ends up being no other solution to this.
