Soon after fat cats came out, bought one for 1.37 mill. Was meant for 13.7 mill. Took awhile, but ultimately sold it for 7.5 mill.

Bought the double-melded nin relic weapon for 8k. Turned around and sold it for 100k. Got a floor cushion for 14k when they were selling for 140k!
I picked up a rose gold choker off the board for 15k, and flipped it for 150k.
I felt kinda bad, but you should always double check your listings.
A glazenut for 165gil.
Buying all the rare furnishings on the MB the day before 2.38 worked out pretty well for me as well.
Well... I ain't predatory enough. I've been looking for an Artisan File, and a couple of weeks back I saw one listed at two 'noughts less than the going price.
So I sent a tell to the listing person, askin' them if they had made a mistake. And they were able to fix it, and thanked me profusely for my tell.
Savage Aim IV - 300 gil
I sold a lot of the Emporer's New _____ armor and accessories between 10-50k. Which was pretty sweet considering the vendors sells them all for less 100gil.
How do you know what the price is "supposed" to be? Is there a guide somewhere? There was plenty of times where I sold something where it was the only one available and I never know what to set the price as....
After you click the "Compare Prices" button in the upper right of the screen where you enter the price and quantity of the item you're selling, it pops up a window of the listings. In the upper right of that window is another button for "History". It's an invaluable tool that tells you how much things typically sell for and how often they sell. If you have the only one of an item, you can always attempt to set your own price, though if you go too high over the normal selling price it won't sell at all and you'll just get undercut all over again. :3
