Maths question.
If A data center has a 3:1:1 dps healer tank ratio and B data center also has 3:1:1, what is the ratio if you merge those servers? What effect would this have on DPS times?

Fair enough, but more people in the pool = reduced queue times regardless of the role ratio, because more people = more players leveling alts. It's the same reason level 50 pops faster than low level dungeons, at 50 the ratio is still most likely 3:1:1 but because there's more people it doesn't take as long...

That makes zero sense, more people in an even distribution is more DPS as well to extend the length of the line proportionate to the increased rate of jobs in demand. Level 50 is different because the ratio is different, people have multiple jobs at 50 and just switch if the wait gets too long.Fair enough, but more people in the pool = reduced queue times regardless of the role ratio, because more people = more players leveling alts. Except it won't really change anything. The aspiring player wanting to get all their battle classes to 50 has to level 2 tanks, 1 healer, and 5 DPS classes (although 1 of them can be leveled as a healer past level 30).Fair enough, but more people in the pool = reduced queue times regardless of the role ratio, because more people = more players leveling alts. It's worse for people like me who have already leveled both tanks and healers, and only have my DPS classes left.
The real question is: Why the hell is low-level roulette a 60-minute wait when WoD and expert take 5-10 minutes tops as a DPS?
There's an obvious incentive distribution problem going on when players just don't want to do LL roulette.
video games are bad
I saw someone suggest ll give allied seals
I usually run it as war with in progress checked, but honestl out of pity for the low level players esp dps
the tome reward is pathetic
I'd make sure to never miss a day though if it gave say 100 allied
It is weird the sanctity of the hunt. We could also just have a weekly quest with 7 low level roulette's give a reward that gives what ever the upgrade item currently is. I used to instant que once a day on tank for LL. It is not worth it and some people think you are there slave. Some places you just want to get in and out ie. Aurum Vale.
This is the most pressing question that they FAIL to answer many times over... The reward for low level roulette is simply horrendous for any well geared level 50 to even bother doing it. SE should have revise the reward to 150 Soldiery and 40 Poetic. And on top of that they should add "adventure in needs" reward to additional 50 soldiery and 20 poetic plus 15k gil, 50 allied seal. To sweeten the bonus, any tanks of healer can repeat the adventure in needs bonus as many as they can. This is pretty much the same bonus as doing mid level endgame dungeons.
The benefits for this are two folds, it helps lower level players to get steady supply of healer and tanks. It also helps FRESHIE healers and tanks to gather as many currency as they need to buy gears without having to deal to run endgame dungeons with their lower level gears. Often this is the problem that fresh level 50 will have to face, adding currency to lower level dungeons as bonus for adventure in needs would help them gears faster.
Another good idea would be to implement standard 40 soldiery and 10 poetics on all lower level dungeons if you are level 50. Add extra rare mounts, crafting materials and minion from dungeons level 35, 38, 41, 44, and 47 - and suddenly you have big incentives for people to do this.

Love this idea, but you also get a lot of a-holes that will only speed run the low level dungeons this way. And not letting the new players learn properly, maybe even kick those players.
They also should think about adding pre-made group duty roulette low level. There were a lot of times that I wanted to help me DPS friend on my healer with low level roulette, but I couldn’t because we couldn’t join the roulette as a group. Get on to it SE!
Yeah it's a really good idea honestly. It just doesn't address the community issue of, "I am in a hurry to play a game so let's skip everything i can possibly skip and try to finish the dungeon in 5 minutes" kind of players. NA gamers hate grinds, SE loves grinds. Grinds make NA gamers impatient and impatient gamers in low level content create negative experiences for potentially new players.
I like your solution I really do but I've had the misfortune of experiencing these impatient level 50s who are just there cuz they feel they have to be... there has to be more we can do such as extra rewards for FULL CLEAR of dungeons to discourage speed running of lower level content. I don't care about level 50 speed run content but low level stuff people are exping or just getting used to the content...
