The problem with Summoners

I just don't understand how they keep saying things like "We're listening to your ideas!! We really are!" and then flat out say no. We don't know what's in store for us for the expansion and we won't know for a bit. In the footage we saw, the old models were being used. That being said, I didn't notice any other classes using new abilities. It's possible they just didn't want to spoil some kind of reveal. Only time will tell.

Depends on changes. We haven't seen Ramuh or Shiva Egis or how they will be implemented into the game. It's possible they took a certain someones idea to change the appearance when Rouse is used to be a balance of the community and developers. It sucks they didn't even touch battle content at PAX or that we are still left in limbo on what Heavensward means to current jobs and classes. Building hype is fine and all but 3 months away is enough time to give us a taste of what is to come.

Edit: I did think about the appearance though. If they made Ifrit look just like the primal but the size of a lalafel it would be laughable. If they made Ifrit "primal" the size of a FFXI summon, it could get in the way of players view of AoE, more so if you have 2 or more SMN in the party.
