Easiest way around this is to create macros for your offensive spells for use inside party content.
For example;
/macroicon Aero (this will give your macro the aero picture and relevant cool down info)
/ac "Aero" <tt> (this will cast the spell on the target of your target)

Now you can target your tank and fire away!!
