[Naoshi Mizuta please!] Music trouble?

Ok, FFXIV has a good OST. But, seriously, I hardly miss Naoshi Mizuta's works (FFXI OST is a true masterpiece) and I truly hate the festival music in the cities now.

Music background is very important for a MMORPG and for a FF online:

FF saga needs Mr. Sakaguchi but I think Nobuo Uematsu can do a better job in the future. Maybe with the support of Naoshi Mizuta and Mr. Tanioka. (FFIX, FFXI, FFCC)

unfortunately everyone has different taste in music.. they wont consider anything based on your tastes

however with that said

I enjoy the music right now.. but yes the fetival music is getting annoying

Wait, I like FFXIV OST, but FFXI online was the only MMORPG that I always played with the original background music all the time.

I'm all for Mizuta taking over when and if Uematsu dosent want to do the expansions. EVEN BETTER... COLLABERATION.

I think XIV has some very strong tracks, but also some pretty weak ones thrown in that tend to drag the themes down imo

I can't play any MMO with background music on... RO, FFXI, LOTRO, FFXIV and all the ones I've dabbled with over the years, music is almost always turned off within a few days.

Though I will mention this regarding the FFXIV music... Especially during the storyline sequences (Or only during the storyline sequences, since I actually turn my music back on for the cutscenes.)... I'll hear the music and it will remind me strongly of previous FFs.

I love some of LOTRO's tracks, I really liked the haunting vocal theme in the Trollshaws.

They need to let us pick what tracks we want to hear from the OST, and let us assign them to whatever areas we want.
