Event help

If this is the right forum, but my wife and I were doing the event quest in limsa and she got the hint "ships". Neither of us are very familiar with the area and can't seem to find the person, and where wondering if anyone could help us. Thanks!

Limsa's hints were the worst.

My hint was "lighthouse" and um, okay, when I think "lighthouse in La Noscea" I'm thinking Pharos Sirius, right? Right? Is that unreasonable?

Needless to say I was not correct.

Lol those events are usually level10-15 so they won't send you anywhere drastic xD

Yeah, but once I figured out all the people were near the aetherytes, "lighthouse" and thinking Pharos Sirius would lead you to Aleport, so that's where I went. Ha.....
good point though, that never crossed my mind.

I'm worried next patch we will have this quest style... yeah it's more adventurous, but still...

My hint for Limsa Lominsa was "lockup" and I got the location right, but I couldn't find the NPC. So I thought I had it wrong...and kept looking...for quite awhile.
Then I tried my first hunch again and found him.

I thought it was fun too! A smidgen too easy though. I got all of mine first try. It took me a second to find Gridania's, but that's because my hint was "chocobo" so I went to the chocobo stables instead of searching around the aetheryte.
