um maybe this 2am me misreading your question but do you mean to say you don't think inflation exists in the game? Because as dumb as OP's idea is you may want to ruminate on why certain servers have different housing prices.
Nope - I never said it didn't exist. My comment was aimed at how seriously he was taking it. I think the OP is way off track and taking certain things too seriously - and the suggestion is even more . . . there's not even a word to describe it. If I do decide to check out the saucer, which I plan to do as soon as the chaos in there settles down some, I think I'd like it how I have seen it on Youtube so far. People spend gil enough in there to get their coins and such to play the games - and this is as such in real life as well.
Not all countries have gambling - ours does. I have also been to the very well known Las Vegas (I don't think there;s a culture in the world that doesn't know about Vegas). I used to go there to casinos - never once did I get charged an entrance fee. I sure as hell paid plenty playing the games though. The saucer is a Final Fantasy version of a casino - games and all - so if we want to go into specifics about comparison to economics and real world gambling establishments, then here ye go . . . Casino = No Entrance Fee - because they KNOW they are about to get your money anyway . . .![]()
It'll die down after a few weeks, or so, once the novelty wears off.
Because of their attitude (the post I quoted throwing toys out the pram) because vast majority called the idea what it was. Stupid.Guys, the OP's reasonings (which I do not agree with at all) for this request had nothing to do with congestion or how the current Gold Saucer works. Check the latest posts, it was bumped by someone else just to taunt ("How do you feel now?"). The thread was made before GS was implemented, so no one is trying to ruin anything, consider it most like brainstorming.
I still disagree with the idea, but at this point it's a dead topic.
