I wouldn't have kicked them; I'll tell them to eat the damn penalty like I do when I find something unsavory enough to make me leave a group.

Like this: why waste a 6 hour cooldown action (or was it 4?) I have to get rid of the real harassing people on an idiot that refuses to do his job? Just start and pull Snowcloak isnt that hard... I he afks -> report straight away / If he joins you get your dungeon done / If he leaves its ok he eats penalty.

A tank once intentionally tried to screw our group over in Amdapor Keep recently, refusing to do anything other than jumping and running around and trying to taunt us. Since it's an old, outgeared dungeon, we proceeded up to the final boss with just the 3 of us, ignoring the tank who was still just running around, saying they'll either get a free clear or a quick instant queue if we kick them. So we didn't kick them, because people who act like jerks for no reason don't deserve to get what they want.
We decided to sit around an hour before the final boss. So did the tank. Since he was still refusing to help us, we kicked him at 10 minutes left on the duty and killed the last boss on our own.
Rather than just running the dungeon normally with us, or even accepting a 30 min penalty, they insisted on being a jerk for 20 minutes and then wait another 60 minutes, doing nothing. That person really astounded me - being a jerk when you get an advantage through it is bad enough, but why be a jerk when it's only hurting yourself?
yep. system is flawed. if someone gets kicked, they are kicked for a reason. this person shouldn't be allowed to re-enter that same exact instance. defeats the entire purpose of having that person kicked in the first place. zero logic.
@Riepah, if you can clear the instance without a certain player and don't want that player back. and also don't need another player... you can always kick them have the party leader NOT re-open the instance for matchmaking. they can't get back in unless the party leader clicks to find more players. however, in a 24man each party leader has master control over this for the entire instance.

The point wasn't that they could do the dungeon without him. They were intentionally punishing him by wasting his time, in response to his trolling behavior.@Riepah, if you can clear the instance without a certain player and don't want that player back. and also don't need another player... you can always kick them have the party leader NOT re-open the instance for matchmaking. they can't get back in unless the party leader clicks to find more players. however, in a 24man each party leader has master control over this for the entire instance.
