    The old city Music

I know ARR is a new step from the mess of ver 1.0, but I will say this I did like the old city music and some the zones music, though the battle music now is so much fugging better. so here's an idea you have the whole sound UI, maybe put a setting in there that lets you use the old cities music if you want, its not like it belongs to one of the other games, IT WAS made for FF14 and this IS FF14.

I remember Soken mentioning ages ago that the reason for the change was that because the three cities were altered by the Calamity, he felt the old city music no longer fit, and thus composed new tracks accordingly. Although I miss the old Limsa and Gridania themes (Navigator's Glory and Born of the Boughs respectively), I definitely do not miss the awful 1.0 Ul'dah theme The Twin Faces of Fate - urrghh, I'm glad that's gone. So we win some and lose some.

Either way, although I'd love to see something like your idea (a 1.0 music toggle), unfortunately I don't think it would ever be possible, given how differently music and sound is handled in ARR (city and zone themes are cued accordingly to specific parameters such as where you are or what time of day it is and thus the old 1.0 music just couldn't work with that - I mean, each city now has a day and night version of it's theme, something that 1.0 never had.

So thus, like how it's been stated in the past that Soken will not be adding looping backing music for the pre level 50 dungeons, I don't think there will ever be a function to allow players to change the zone/city themes to 1.0 music sadly.
