Here's the bottom line, being a prick and shaming people publicly isn't acceptable for any reason.

That said, there are a lot of varying play styles and people need to accept the fact that not everybody plays the way you do or the way you think they should, period. There is no 100% intended way to play this game, in fact the main man, Yoshi-P himself, stated that he likes people to figure out new strategies and the like. People are not going to agree all of the time, some people prefer speed runs, some people prefer slower runs, deal with it guys.

If you can't handle a forced speed run then leave and do something you enjoy and vice versa if you can't handle a slow run then leave and do something you enjoy. I really can't understand why you guys are sitting here arguing over simple opinions when you could just get over it and move on.

I agree with what you said. But, this is what a forum is for. Personally, I appreciate it when topics like this arise. The op is right in what they are saying. Too many people are made to feel inadequate because of minor nuances they impose to their groups that are not severe enough to stop progression.

What I find fascinating is the extent in which people are willing to tell you how bad of a player someone is as opposed to simply explaining the error in their technique. I always say to myself, "Okay buddy, you just typed 3 full sentences insulting this person instead of giving any sort of advice...and your goal is to progress....smh"
