I stopped running dungeons as healer or tank, I rather deal with the long que time then try to make everyone happy.

But the point of running dungeons is to get it done. Regardless of you being able to please everyone or if the run was messy or not. The only thing that matters is if you finished the instance or not. The moment u see the tome reward and treasure chest at the end with the little glowy exit means you have succeeded and no one can say you have failed.

Everyone has a common goal and a personal goal. But the thing is most ppl tend to push their personal goal on others.
(I.e common goal = completing the dungeon____ personal goal = finishing the dungeon as fast as i can) it can be the other way around too lol.

Feelings will be hurt , words will be said. But all in all it all boils down to how u handle it. Just remember its not like they r there in person to beat u up. Power of online gaming lol.

It is possible I am mixing the two. Everyone has their own opinions so miscommunications happen.
But the harassment happens whether someone can or cannot do it. And I believe I said earlier in another post that majority rules and there they is always PF and other ways. I mean I don't care much to holy on Healer or DPS, compared to SCH where I do it because it presents a fun challenge to me. But I still do half the time or if asked nicely or if I feel confident i can keep the tank alive. And I have yet to see out of 1000+ dungeons ( i got that 1000 dungeon/trial achievement a while ago so I feel like I spent too much time playing xD) people acting the way people in the forums say. I have yet to see even one person make a big deal over playing differently. And like I said, Majority rules. So if the majority feels like someone won't listen then yes, it's okay. I'm not against opposing playstyles, only when they're forced on someone or when the person is harassed over it :/
So I'm trying to support people having a bad day cuz of mean players.

Variety is the spice of life, how boring would it be if we were all the same?
But people calling people fails just for being different is wrong...

It is an absolute fact that if you aren't at least trying at your job, you're being rude. If you were apologizing the entire time you were auto attacking because of a broken keyboard and trying to fix it? Ok
If you're passing up Clutch holy because you DONT know any better? Thats fine too, then someone teaches you, now it should be getting done.

It is one thing to make excuses for legitimate reasons, its another to make excuses to be utterly lazy, and that is why I regard it as incredibly rude. I don't go into instances expecting everyone else to pull my weight while I watch Ellen and eat Cheetos or something, and I expect very much the same of them.

I love speed-running. It's quick and fun when everyone's on the ball.

I hate, hate it when people insist on speed runs to the detriment of those who are unfamiliar or uncomfortable.

As your tank, rest assured, I've got your back if you want to take it easy.

OP, I find the easiest way to stop speed runners is to : show up at item level (hide your Nexus weapons) and don't use AOEs or use very few, pretend to run out of tp...and let the tank die a few times (you can do this as a Dps to) All the while no one will ever know what you are doing. Most times the tanks just Rage Quits. Remember, "There's always a way"

lol, I only use this "Tactic" when I get a Smart Axx Tank or Evil Troll Healer who thinks everything gotta be a speed run. You'll know if I mean business if I'm in AF gear with my level 60 bow. Better go slow. lol

I'd have thought being that judgemental and voicing that judgement would be vastly more rude than being the player who isn't comfortable popping cleric stance and holying as you wish.

Holy is a damage mitigation tool that happens to do considerable damage. Damage mitigation is part of the healer role (see: Stoneskin). You can get three casts of holy without worrying about your tank taking more than a little bit of damage, because the enemies will be stunned, and any damage that might get through is taken care of with Regen.

Even if you refuse to pop Cleric Stance for it (which is just a waste not to, really), there is really no good reason to not be using Holy.

I could post logs of your intense tantrum that prove otherwise, but that would be naming and shaming- which you're trying to do right now.

With that said, I only advise people on what to do, and I do so kindly. It is inevitable they will have to learn some things. Being passive agressive about it or searching for pity points is no way to improve oneself.
