The point is if you know why something is true, in this case why and when healers should dps, go with those reasons instead of bad ones like "they should be able to do what they want cause they pay a subscription".

How is that hard to comprehend?
I think you are going a little extreme on our comments. While I do appreciate and respect the point you are trying to make, you're taking our posts out of context. We posted in reply to the OP. Our context applies to "his" post. When I said he can do what he wants as long as he does his job, that is in context to what he posted. I added the majority of his point below:

Well, recently I changed main to WHM and I love it even more. Holy is a beast. And using it on big pulls while keeping the tank alive is an amazing experience.

Problem is: My FC doesn't agree with me
If he is doing his job then DPS away. Knowing when to dps and when not to dps seems to already be within his grasp..
I became a stance dancer, even put cleric stance on my 4th mouse button and learned the stance buffering. I thought I was the best healer ever. People rarely died and I was actually doing something other than spamming Physick.
Keeping in full heal mode will not fix stupid. If a dps can't dodge mechanics they are going to die and a healer cannot always save them. It is sad this topic that should have only been 1 page de-railed into many pages of nonsense. If I noticed this is the case, then obviously the "right" thing to do is to hold back a little on dps and keep an eye on this crazy dps or tank going forward.

Teamwork is just what you are saying, so let's have a reasonable expectation that the dps and tank knows what they are doing and I as a healer have the freedom to dps and heal as needed to help the group complete the task.
