    Quelling Strike canceled out

    Hey there i just made up a macro for archer " {Trifurcate}+{Quelling Strike}+{Hawk's Eye}+{Ferocity II}+{Raging Strike}

    Here is the problem as soon as Raging Strike activates it cancels out Quelling Strike. Then i tried switching Ferocity II with Raging strike and same thing happened but this time Ferocity II canceled it out.

    Now my question is "Is there some kind of max enhancement you can do for a single attack? or is this a glitch with the system?"

    I never heard of this happening before and was just curious

    I was playing around with it recently and I *think* Raging and Quelling strike overwrite each other. If it's doing it for Ferocity too then I guess you can't use Quelling with any Attack buff?

    Makes sense considering you're trying to not tick it off further

    But there is abilities to lower hate afterwards like Chameleon ... but if thats the case i will just take out one of the power up buffs and just add it to Barrage :P that i will be able to tp attack within a second. since i have invigorate II up at the same time usually.

    Just never seen or anything explaining that it would override it in the game mechanics. because its not like its the same move or anything

    Basically it seems like you have to make a choice, which is good. More damage or less hate. Can't have both otherwise it'd be pretty broken.

    Ferocity + Quelling Strike does work.
    Raging Strike + Quelling Strike does not.

    Yea, this has been the case since I've started playing ARC a couple months after release. And I can understand why, since the two together offer a very OP situation (specifically when combined with Trifurcate/Multishot).

    Though I haven't tested post-1.18, Ferocity and Raging Strike always did very, very similar damage boosts. This of course could be completely different now and I suspect it is.

    As far as the over-writing, it depends on which you pop first, whatever you use last will be the bonus you get, so I've found that I like using:

    2x Multishot post-fight/1x Multishot mid-fight, Ferocity II + Quelling Strike II, loose arrows.
    Trifurcate + Raging Strike II + Hawk's Eye, loose arrows.

    At that point, since Ferocity's CD timer is a bit lengthier, I usually use Quelling Strike with a weaponskill and usually the timers will sync pretty closely then.

    Of course it's all situational. This is just a "copy+paste" kinda rotation. Likely not the best, but good damage output at an even pace.

    Raging gets overwritten by Quelling so you'll lose the +Attack and instead get the -Enmity buff
