Question about new gunner class

I was just wondering if anyone knows these things about the new gunner class and I don't know if is been mentioned before.

Are gunners going to use old bard gear (similar to how ninja used monk gear)?

Are gunners going to be Dex based?

I think the general consensus is that, yes, it will share the main stat of DEX along with Bard gear. Granted, there's no official information, but this seems the most likely.
