Vote Kicked Players Need To Be Penalized

I know there probably has been threads that have said similar things, but as the powers that be have not responded to this yet, I feel the need to repeat it.

There is an epidemic in World of Darkness. It was an epidemic in Syrcus Tower and Crystal Tower before it. People queue up only intending to go to a specific boss and then demand to be kicked or they will afk for the rest of the run. Some will not afk and simply continue to harass the group by pulling bosses and trash and wiping groups.

Simply kicking these players for harassment does NOTHING. What is the purpose of specifying the reason you are kicking someone if nothing is going to be done about that reason? There needs to be some penalty here. Players already can be kicked and then instantly join in progress the same group they were kicked from. Players can demand to be kicked rather than leaving and earning themselves the 30minute desertion penalty. We as players need an outlet for these players who harass others, afk and/or demand to be kicked.

Players who are kicked for harassment should receive a 60minute timeout from dungeons. Players who are kicked often for this need to be suspended and we need to see a report like the RMT reports that this is happening.

Please remedy this situation before we hit Heavensward.

Give vote kick more power and it will be horribly abused on normal non harassing people. Won't happen cuz people on the Internet can't properly handle real power without crapping all over eveyone.

While a noble cause and partly agree, the possibility for abuse is there. For someone to be kicked and labeled for harassment when they weren't just for a backfire so to speak and gives that person a 60 minute penalty for no other reason than donkey party members.

It really annoys me to see those ppl that ask to be kicked from the pt. So yes I'd like to see some kind of penalty for ppl who are kicked.

Just kick them, then report them. There's too much potential for abuse in a timeout for being kicked.

I understand there is risk involved in making it more punishing. But if not, then there really needs to be a PUBLIC penalty involved with those players who are routinely kicked.

There has to be a better way than the current methodology.

All I can see is abuse with this. On a few occasions recently I have been the victim of being kicked from dungeons while farming my Nexus drops, simply because they wanted to alleviate a member of their "friend" circle and give them a chance at their nexus drop >.>

Many times you see arguments citing harrasment as a key reason why it isn't done. Sometimes it doesn't make sense. In this case it does. The amount of abuse that can done with your suggestion far outweighs whatever harrasment is currently done. As Izsha said, this is why we can't have nice things.

Just report them. You can get banned for 10 days if you refuse to do your job in the dungeon, no joke, even without prior history of violations.
