    Why do we have /yell, and why is it's range shorted than /shout?

    Has anyone found an effective use for /yell that can't be used with /shout?

    Also, why is the radius of a /yell shorter than /shout? After years of FFXI using the convention of yell-area > shout-area, why is this now flipped?

    yell kind of reminds me of a more dire need of help since when i /yell the text appears in red.

    Orange text from shouting seems like common chit chat
