1) 2) they may like the original look
3) they don't want to spent stupid amount of gil for glamour
4) they didn't drop the gear they want to glamour yet
5) (female) unglamored is way more original than the 80% glamoring wedding drees or swimsuits

I haven't unlocked glamour yet >_>
I don't for several reasons.
1. I am in the mindset where, for example, if you don't want to display your helm, take it off. But then you don't get the stats, well, because you took it off.
2. Will play any and all jobs at any point in time. I am not going to glamour every single Job I have.
3. Not going to keep glamouring every single time I get an upgraded item.
4. Some jobs share armour sets. PLD and WAR, cannot glamour each one to look different, or to say make them look like their ilvl 90 iconic Job look.
5. The only thing that I REALLY REALLY hated so far, was the I think Noct tank helm, that look like the laurel leafy Greece thing. But even then I stuck with it. First Ironworks gear I purchased? The helm, to replace ugly.
6. Not coordinated or care enough to find an entire outfit that I really like that goes well together. I may like those boots, or that helm, separately, but don't go well together.
7. If I did ever end up doing Glamour, I probably would just glamour everything to look like the level 1 Lalafell outfit. So that, it is just me, my clothes, and my weapon, no matter what I am doing. No "gear swaps" per say.
8. Too damn cheap and lazy to do it.

I have the Artbook and in the section showing off all the armor sets the Noct set has a full helm. The model is in game, but it actually used for the "Imitation Mistbeard Helm." This is actually the second time this has been done with the helm of a tank set. The Armor of Light set from CT1 also had this happen, and it looks like it will happen a 3rd time with the Cecil style Dark Knight Helm in Heavensward
Neat info. You make me want to buy that minion that comes with a free art book even more!I have the Artbook and in the section showing off all the armor sets the Noct set has a full helm. All this stuff about how gear looks. And while you can right-click on a link and try it on, I wish you can do the same before you roll on something, so have some idea what it looks like, before you even roll on it. Feature needs to be added. Finding out what it looks like after someone wins it, is... meh....
MANTASTIC: I got 1017 problems, but playing FFXIV ain't one.
Llyren: Lala Tanks hit point density levels attract small planets
Because I like the look of some gear, not everything needs to be glamoured.
I don't have my current armor glamoured because I like the poetics set. (And because I can't afford the Kirimu Boots of Healing *grumble grumble*)
Also glamour restrictions. So many things that I'd love to glamour but can't.![]()
I honestly don't care about glamour. The only exception to that is the early subligar that looks like you have no pants on. Other things draw me to this game, not the look of my gear
I usually have my gear glamoured with the Serpent Elite Gear because it best suits my personality. But, whenever i’m gearing up my class with the latest gear from the patch, i tend to keep that look until i get the complete set.
For instance, right now i’m collecting the Demon Set of Healing for my White Mage. I like the look of it, so i’m keeping it until i get the whole set. Then i’ll most likely go back to the Serpent Elite look i had going for it:
This is currently the look i’m sporting for my Paladin:
I also don’t really glamour the gear i use when leveling a class, since i won’t be wearing it for a long time anyway. Although, i’ve made some HQ Goatskin gear for my Rogue and even though it looks “simple”, it doesn’t look bad at all. (^_^ )

Credit goes to Niqo'te for her fabulous art in the "Nique's happy fun time!"-thread and Nix/Capa for the Caitlyn drawing to the right. \(^_^ )/
Give her your support by liking their art!
Some people like showing off what they've actually attained (in terms of their highest tier gear). I am mostly in this crowd, even though it's not like I'm some hardcore raider or anything (2nd coil still kicks the snot out of me)
Personally speaking, I don't bother to glamour something unless it looks terribly mismatched or outright ugly.
