Rotation guide - 2/3/4 stars

Hi there,

I wrote lodestone blog entries about crafting rotations. The guide contains rotations for 1, 2, 3 and 4 stars. Here is an extract of the main blog entry :

When I reached master recipes crafting, I found a whole bunch of crafting guides. [...] I went frustrated by the rotations I found there. Most of them were either bad [...] pretty hard to read [...] or hard to understand [...] This guide will focus on the one and only thing : these damn rotations.

The rotation guide contains :

- master recipe II items rotations (I'm 4/8 on these books, lost 8 FCIII in the process)
- Lucis turn in item rotations
- 3 stars rotations (from 10 to 12 touches rotations, >95% HQ with NQ mats)
- 4 stars rotations (11 touches rotations, >80% HQ with NQ mats)
- mass production macros for 1 and 2 stars (artisan turn in gear, Mastercraft demimateria farming, ...)

If you are looking for rotations, you are in the right spot.
And if you have ideas to improve any of the rotation, or if you feel something is missing, you are welcome to discuss them (here or on lodestone).

Thank you! This was an excellent guide - it helps you understand the steps and how you should deviate depending on your personal RNG run. I was able to get my leatherworker supra and masterbook II despite some RNG failures (two failed PbP in a row made me want to cry) and triumphs (my final Water-hardened Hippogryph Strap hq'd at only 8% quality).

I took a gander at your 2* and 4* write-ups. I'm a LITTLE surprised that you didn't also lookup/include 1*/2* 40dur/80dur synthesis in your guides.

I thought about a lot of the macros I found while I was still getting to 2*/3*, how the stats that I had didn't necessarily match up with what was required for different macros, etc. While it would be nice of me to repost those, I've given more thought as to re-writting out all of my, let's call them mass production macros, and uploading them to my lodestone blog. the effect of "Now that I'm here, and all 8 of my crafts have exactly these stats, here are the skills needed, and here are the exact macro's, to have one/two touch macro's to guarantee every synth 2*-. Eventually, I'm sure we'll get there with3*. Mostly, because our Crafts/Control will be so high we won't need as many steps . . . but we'll see.

Well, thank you for the input. I did not post all my mass-production macros, but I'll do it. At least the 1* 40 durability because we have to make thousands of these for Mastercraft Demima farming.

thanks for the 3* rotation guide... but i have a problem using Shana`s rotation...

I try those to make Mummer`s Dagger... but it always failed when comes to hasty touch... I don`t know what to do

so is there anyone wants to share the rotation to make HQ Mummer`s Dagger...

Hi Adeputra,

You should be careful, the Mummer's Dagger has a difficulty of 222 while the 3* rotation of my guide has 445 difficulty. The rotation you are following does NOT apply to Mummer's Dagger (not without a slight modification).

I will soon update my guide for these crafts. I'm just a little busy fishing these days. I'll try to update the guide for sunday as I see that you have troubles.
