Thread: Huge lag spikes since 2.5

Also on Virgin Media, also getting huge lag spikes. Got the lost connection error this evening which is incredibly rare for me. Also had lag spike problems last week but it didn’t last as long as this one right now.

I did not notice anything when I played last night. Today its been bad at round 2-3 pm and now at 7 its even worse, Periods of no response or my character standing there waiting to accept or finish a quest.

I'm also on Virgin Media.

Never had this before, been playing since 2.1. Happened this morning and hasn't stopped since. It's frustrating.

With Virgin Media as well. Must be their end, then? Speedtest looks fine. Maybe it's a packet issue?

I use Shaw and I get these lag spikes from time to time as well. I suspect the issue may not be ISP-related.

Same for me, gigantic lag spikes, also on virgin media, with disconnects too

Been getting huge lag spikes tonight since 7pm. Also on Virgin Media. Can't be a coincidence that we're all experiencing problems and all on Virgin Media surely? How annoying

Also with Virgin Media & lagging. Though I have friends on the same server with Virgin Media who aren't experiencing any lag, so it still may just be coincidence.

I'm experiencing lag too in home server and in instances.
I restarted client and nothings changed. Speedtest all pinged normal on 3 separate servers..

Not with virgin media (combo breaker!) I'm on time warner cable.

Was normal yesterday.. now its just bad.

Virgin Media became unusable for me. It started out fine for the first bunch of months, but at some point it stopped being reliable at all and was never fixed. I switched to BT Infinity, and I recommend any Virgin users in the UK to do the same.
