The entire Crystal Tower sidequest is directly lifted from FFIII, so they don't have too much of an issue fitting in facets from other games into the story.

Considering Zodiark is most definitely a thing in FFXIV, that's probably the touch of Ivalice you'll see ingame at some point.

There's a bit of a difference between that and what the OP wants.
Lifting something with as generic a name as "The Crystal Tower" and giving NPCs the same names and roles as they had, but be different characters from the original (with Cloud of Darkness being an ambiguous case, as she's an extradimensional entity and thus COULD be the same one), is a bit different from...transplanting the entire Empire and characters from one game and putting it in this one.
The armor of the named Garleans already draws inspiration from the Judges in XII, so I doubt we'll be getting much more than that.
