I have the feeling SE secretly wish this game didn't exist. All other ff titles were port over to ps3 and above, but FF12 is still on the ps2. I hope one day they finally port it over to the vita.

While I'm pretty much against most crossover events, the bangaa race was my hope for the new race, until au-ra (elezen with scales) was revealed.
If not cross overs then "homages" similar to CT, Magitek, etc
I can't believe how much I realised I wanted to play a Bangaa, and when I found out they were doing a "Lizardman race" or "Dragonkind" race I immediately went to Bangaa. I've even taken a picture of the Au Ra footage and recoloured it with red skin and green scales. If that becomes possible, I'll be happy, even though it still isn't bangaa. But oh man, I'd love a good Bangaa race.
That said, I think the biggest obstacle would be the amount of effort it would take to rework all of the gear, since their bodies are often hunched over much of the current equipment would take much more work to be remodeled for them.
Sigh... Yes, you are right. I totally see the point. I'm still disappointed though.
But at least they could've taken the scale factor further.
Only X and X-2. The other older FF games are not PS3 ports. They are PS1 games the PS3 can play.
And I think FF XII HD Remastered is already in planning
About XII homage, how about a quest story around a boy who want to be a sky pirate? ^^

If you see Lost City of Amdapor final phase, it looks same with some FFXII dungeon (i forgot the dungeon name)
Maybe add something by selling certain combinations of junk loot a new item will appear in the shops that you can buy. That was a cool feature except for the insanely rare drops like 1% or whatever.
