and meh i havnt looked at all damage i do in pvp to see if 59k is alot or shit to other melees in my grps since i only check mine to see if it was higher then the last

As far as damage goes, it doesn't reaaallly matter that much since most people are aiming for kills. For example, you could be a PLD with like 40k damage but 10 kills because you managed to land the killing blow on a low target over the person who dealt 100k+. Damage isn't what gets you achievements ;D~

But if you consider damage dealt + kills it determines if you are good at pvp or not.

I could drop a scathe at every dying guy and get 25+ kills without doing more than 30K damage in a fight.

on the other hand sometimes i manage to do 250K or more with 10 kills or less which is pretty poor and means that a little genius stole my kills. But its Ok.

That said, i have no clue what a good melee ratio is. As BLM i often do more than 20/200 with 1 or 2 deaths sometimes no death at all. I believe that good NIN/DRG will rarely go below 10/100.

blm in slaughter is meh lol lvling a blm just to pvp with it but mhm

i few kills i have got when doing pvp have been from ksing, others i have put in damage and didnt get final hit :/
