Eternal Bond Transition for Heavensward

Something that has been bugging me since I had the chance to take the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding is that when Heavensward is introduced, will I still be Eternally Bound to my partner even if they do not necessarily go into Heavensward and vice versa?

Because I want to take a break from FFXIV before getting Heavensward and I want to be sure that when I am ready to rejoin the game in Heavensward I will still have the Eternal Bond that I have gained with my partner and that it will not be lost.

I highly doubt you would lose it since you don't need Heavensward for Eternal Bond.

All the expansion does is add new content, not replace the old.

Pretty sure you'll still be bonded. It's been said that you can transfer servers and that won't nullify it, so if the bond can survive server-hopping then it should be able to survive some new zones and raids and stuff being added in.
