It is possible to gain more ventures through levequests as mentioned earlier. I have an alt who is about lvl 33 and is sitting on around 50 venture coins or so from a bunch of levequests I did to get a couple of other classes caught up. Once you hit 50 though it will be a lot easier to keep the ventures going. Definitely grab the beast quests once you unlock them. Have fun with it too.
