alright so I purchased ff14 through Digital download off amazon at release and have been subscribing ever since. I recently got my gf to give the game a try with a free trial on her ps3. she started a character and we quested all the way up to the cap. with 11 days left on her trial she wants to transfer to an acount and play.

now the issue is she wants to play on pc, since the ps3 graphics are subpar and I happen to have two gaming computers at my disposal. I don't mind this because I'd like to purchase the steam version and let her use the code for her to use with the amazon client i have.

so while I'm looking at the mog station for her character It only seems to be giving me options to transfer her account to a full ps3 account. there is an option to input a registration code. if I buy the steam version and input the code on that screen will it let her ps3 free trial character become a pc character? and then will i be able to enter the recruitment code I sent to her email?
