Ehcatl Smithing Gloves for daily Ixali quests

I am not sure if this been suggested before but..

I'm currently using the Ehcatl Smithing Gloves for my crafting classes.
However when I do my daily quests from Ixali's I keep getting anoyed that I have to change to the Ehcatl Wristgloves (which I want to throw away) but since they have the addtional effect
[Must be equipped to craft certain Ixali recipes.]

So what I would like the dev to add is said effect [Must be equipped to craft certain Ixali recipes.] into the Ehcatl Smithing Gloves.

Surely I'm not the only one who is anoyed about this.

I brought this up in an earlier thread and I absolutely agree. It's... bizarre that they're not allowed as a kind of reward for maxing out the Ixali Beast Tribe Reputation.

With the 3 new jobs coming in the expansion, SE really needs to address this.

For what it's worth, it seems to be intentional. The linked topic was moved to the "Not A Bug Report" forum, implying everything's working as intended.

I have the Ehcatl wristgloves on my Culinarian gearset permanently. I typically only craft 2* Food anyway, and can guarantee HQ any 2* food, with macro, even if I'm wearing the wristgloves, so it doesn't bother me. People have asked me when they see me crafting food why I have them equipped, but honestly, since I'm still doing the Ixal Daily quests every single day (Selling my Sealant is still profitable, so why not)
