2. Will saving materials such as atma crystals and alexandrite be worth it for dark knight. Since I'm in the process of wanting dark knight weapon, or should I just go for my pld weapon Excalibur.
3. what is the percentage of obtaining a unstained book from a hunt A and S if I'm correct only.

2. Saving everything you can to make a relic going faster is possible and nice to do. I am planning to do that myself to save myself some time also to avoid the zerg fever of expansion. What you can save is all 12 atmas, the 3 inks and 75 alexandrite and respective materias for novus, having all 4 zodiac items ready. Books and lights you need to do them on the spot.
3. I don't know. And yes only A and S drop but S drop rate is a lot higher than a A.

The ink at Mor Dhona, npc on right and on item section. You will buy a Superior something Ink that cost 250 soldiery. Get 3 of them. It will be needed for novus scroll to infuse alexandrite.

2. I'd say yes, but there's absolutely nothing revealed yet that the Heavensward jobs will get their relics the same way. Yes, NIN did keep to tradition when it was added, but that doesn't mean anything since the new jobs don't have that level 50 stopping point.
