Yes, as a lot of people pointed out in the Balmung Housing Issue thread, people who aren't paying for their subscription shouldn't have claim over a limited content such as housing. They've "worked hard" to get the house, yes, but the same goes for all those who have farmed the money and are now sitting on it waiting for plots to open, while wards become ghost towns.

Maybe a form of refund is due, but wards should definitely get a reset feature after 1-2 months of not being used. And I'm sorry for those players who quit every other month because they "run out of content" and wait for a new patch to return and still want their house to be there, but it doesn't matter how hard you worked for it: if you don't use it, you don't need it.

And I say this as a house owner myself. I'd totally understand if my plot were reseted if my FC and I didn't use it every month like we do. Much like how they implemented an AFK-player-kick feature back when congestion was an issue, there is now a congestion of empty houses, and I feel they should be "kicked".
