So let play Guess that game again this time try guess what the popularity of the 3 Tanks in 3.0 after 3 months.

I say after 3 months because that should be enough time for the Tank population to balance out between those who will be choose Dark Knight as their main tank job and those who will turn back to Paladin or Warrior as their main tank job.

Of course by then 3.1 should be released around that time.

For my guess I say...

1st) Warrior
2nd) Dark Knight
3rd) Paladin

I hope they redo paladin as it's very boring at low levels. Flash aint fun.

I'll be pretty disappointed if pally just gets another cooldown or something, this is the opportunity to add some extra flavor to it, hopefully more in the magic department.

This is just for fun. No need to get so serious.

Besides people choose what type of things they want to main all the time. While others would alt between different Jobs of the same Role, they still choose one above all else to play as for majority of their Content.

It is just a guessing game of what people think the Tank population will choose to Main for the majority of their content experience. This is not about which Tank is better than the other because people perform differently based on if the gameplay style suits them or not and if they are motivated enough to put effort into that gameplay style.

I only agree with this because I don't plan on making DRK my main, I have spent to much time on Warrior as is.

But on that note, my hubby wants to start playing a tank with DRK, and my FC leader is planning on switching from PLD... but I think each tank will be better at tanking different content.

No different then Ifirt HM was a pain with 2 warrior when it was new.

Unless the other tanks get something as good as hallowed ground, paladins are going to continue to be a staple for endgame. I expect warriors and dark knight to be interchangeable depending on what utility they bring in the way of debuffs. If DRK has an intelligence debuff it can apply (like dragon kick) then I expect hands down it'll be the go to raid tank next to paladin.
