    Does max level chocobo slow spirit bonding gain?

    As the title says my chocobo is rank 20 and I was wondering now that the chocobo can't gain any exp will it still drain some of the spirit bonding away?

    Yes, it's a flat 40% reduction based on you being in a party or not. Who happens to be in that party, or the size of it doesn't matter. That's why people SB in full party, since it takes no penalty after the first person.

    I see thanks for the reply guess I will just refrain from using chocobo when spirit bonding alone
