Terrible drop rate for Markab(Farkup)

Granted I haven't done Ramuh much (5 runs), but I've been tracking my pony runs since the beginning of 2.5. For me, Garuda is the stingiest - about 90 runs, and only 6 Xanthos Whistle drops. I've won none of them.

In contrast, The first 3 runs of Ifrit I did, I saw Aithon twice, and Nightmare once.

Like you I've had pretty bad RNG too. Lost 91, 95, and 96 on mount rolls. But I'd say don't give up - you'll get them eventually. A friend of mine has been farming ponies for 6 months now, and was overjoyed to have gotten his first pony yesterday.

The easier way would be to form a static, either for a singular pony, or for all of them. However, I find that people generally cannot persevere for the runs - after 30 Garuda runs with only 2 mount drops, my static members were quite ready to call it quits.

I think that the ponies are so boring now that they upped droprate, they were rare and unique and now everyone has at least one pony. It sucks that there are so few rare things in this game.

Doesn't really invalidate the achievement though. There are a lot of people out there without Kirin mounts. Couple that with the fact that I see everyone on my server running around with The Final Witness title, and I suppose Dreadwyrm weapons aren't really that special anymore either...

I think there are more people on my server with The Final Witness title, than Kirin mounts.
