I think it should be removed. I worked hard to level up and gear up, why punish me by nerfing my stats?

Its not punishing you, its helping the lower players as stated many times before. Say you're doing a roulette or working on a book, or for whatever you need to do a level synch dungeon for. Say you get Sastasha you go in full ilvl120+, you could probably solo the dungeon. How would a new tank or healer be able to actually do their job? A new tank couldn't hold aggro off you and your HP wouldn't even probably move so a healer wouldn't be doing much, no learning. A caster DPS class may not even get a spell off before the mob is dead. Everyone always says that the early dungeons are for learning your role. You can't learn anything if don't actually get to play your role, leading to further complications after 50 content.
They're working hard to level up too, you were there once, give em a break. Remember there is no "I" in MMO. Don't be "That Player", oh wait.......

No other game punishes you for leveling up and no one has complained about an over geared high level one shotting things in a dungeon....ever. You should learn your class before you enter dungeons in my opinion...that's what the big ol open world is for. I practice pulling and healing in between dungeons, not when I get in them.

Sit back and relax, hmm, "why am I playing this game? To watch other players do what I should be doing?. Solo tanking and healing in the open world, big challenge there. Then they just sit back and relax. *Shrugs*

Almost everyone here watches other people play. Hence the whole "watch the video first or get out scrub!" mentality.
You pretty much always solo tank. But no, I grab these magical things called "friends" or join fate parties. I either pull as much as I can and practice my tanking rotation, holding aggro. Or I have people not dodge aoes and grab big pulls to practice my healing. So far, I've never gotten a complaint and always get complimented on my tanking/healing skills.

I must have missed in the start of the game to make all the magical friends you can right away and go practice your role with them at FATES before entering your first dungeon so you know exactly what to do in there, but wait you won't need to do anything just sit back and relax. Was that Momodi that told me this at the start?Almost everyone here watches other people play. Hence the whole "watch the video first or get out scrub!" mentality.

Learning your role is different than learning a dungeon. You can always learn a dungeon regardless of it you're actually doing something or not. Again, which is why people scream go watch a video. That's not you playing, that's not you even in the dungeon or in the game.I must have missed in the start of the game to make all the magical friends you can right away and go practice your role with them at FATES before entering your first dungeon so you know exactly what to do in there, but wait you won't need to do anything just sit back and relax. With an attitude like that, I can see how you missed making friends lol.
Do you really think any fresh 50 cares about something like that? They are mostly like "cool" getting over it, and after a week they have the gear to hold aggro (dont see any reason why a fresh 50 dps or healer would be angry about overgeared people in his group.)

Do you really think that any fresh 50 would want to just sit back and not get any enjoyment out of a game they are paying money to play each month? I'm sure there probably is, there are tons of lazy people out there. But there are also those who enjoy the stuff that they "worked for" to get, not handed to them. Some people actually like to have a sense of accomplishment. Not the everyone gets a trophy attitude.
Me. Constantly in WoW. I HATED leveling up, and someone brings their max level buddy and say "Don't attack or get any agro I'm pulling the entire dungeon to the end and AOE'ing everything down." /sigh What a boring run this is gonna be. I hated "The Plow".
MANTASTIC: I got 1017 problems, but playing FFXIV ain't one.
Llyren: Lala Tanks hit point density levels attract small planets
